Meet the Team

Barry Callaghan

Managing Director

Barry Callaghan
Managing Director, Barry Callaghan has been involved in the timber windows and doors industry literally all of his life! The son of company founder Gerry Callaghan, Barry and his brothers would always be keen to help their father ‘at work’, developing a huge level of understanding from a very young age. Nearly 40 years on and Gerry still plays an active role in the business.

Meanwhile, Barry divides his time between duties in Ireland (where he works closely with the production management team to ensure that quality and delivery targets are met) and undertakes a very proactive role in the development of business in the UK (working closely with our sales team to ensure all customer requirements are dealt with).

Having developed high quality products and services for the Irish market, he saw a demand for this expertise in the UK and established Timeless Wood Windows. The Timeless product range has been derived from those 40 years of manufacturing knowledge and experience, combined with the latest improvements in performance technology. It’s a range that Barry is very proud of.

Mark Scarff

Director of Operations

Mark Scarff
Having worked up through the ranks in the fenestration industry for over 30 years, Mark Scarff provides a wealth of knowledge and experience in his pivotal role as Director of Operations. Coordinating all operational activities in the UK, he lends his expertise to everything from new product and business development through to admin management and the continual improvement of the Timeless offer –
he even sometimes makes the tea!

With a sharp eye for detail and a wealth of technical knowledge, this unique combination of understanding provides a clear basis for advising our customers on what can and can’t be achieved when it comes to improving and replacing windows. Mark has extensive experience in the period timber window market in London and the South East of England through his former role as Head of Sales & Installations at the Sash Window Workshop.

Based from our operational headquarters in Dorking, Mark has daily contact with all elements of the business including the factory – which involves regular visits to liaise with the production team on the development and quality of the Timeless range.

Andy Vooght

Business Dev. Manager

Our Business Development Manager, Andy Vooght graduated from the University of Salford and has developed a wealth of sales, marketing and account management skills across a range of industries over the last 20 years. Andy’s experience of operations in garden design and construction, tensile fabric structures, Oak framed buildings and (for the last 5 years) traditional timber windows afford him the ability to understand customer’s requirements and how to deliver the most appropriate solutions.

Andy’s role is split between working with property professionals to help achieve their client’s wishes, and advising home owners directly on how best to get what they want from their windows and doors.

Andy is also responsible for much of Timeless’s marketing activities and works with both the sales and management team to ensure that expectations are being met. Having developed a passion for historic joinery Andy is also assisting industry doyen Charles Brooking with the promotion of his museum of architectural detail.

Michael O’Connor

Architectural & Planning Consultant
Whilst many of our clients have no need for the services of an architect or planning consultant, we are delighted that we can offer these from a safe pair of hands. Michael gained a degree in Architecture from University College Dublin in 1993 and has gained accreditations for conservation work. Having worked in a variety of projects within several practices, Michael formed his own practice in April 1999, merging with Ink Architects in 2002 to form O’Connor and Shanahan Architects.

Working now from his studio in Central London, Michael is delighted to provide a wide range of architect and planning consultancy services for our clients.
