W12 working with woodAs part of the commitment to the future development of our business, the Directors of Callaghan Sash Windows took a day out of the office to visit W12 exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham.

Billed as a showcase for technology, materials and components, this exhibition targets the joinery and furniture manufacturing industries. The obvious woodworking machinery was on show (much of it now automated), but the continued focus remains on waste management and employee safety. With so much technical development within the industry both from a software and hardware point of view, we are keen to stay abreast of new ways of doing things that will drive efficiency within the business – as long as it does not change what we are trying to achieve.
